AFFILIATES

Become an affiliate volunteer seeker organization

If your organization is a nonprofit, school, or government agency looking for volunteers we can help mobilize new volunteers and give incentives to existing volunteers. Either way, we are excited to support your organization and invite you to be part of our community of giving. The first step is to register your organization as one of our affiliates.

Our affiliates must meet the following criteria:

  • Jewish or non-Jewish organization in need of volunteers.
  • Carry general liability insurance.
  • Not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, gender, sexual preference, national origin, age, or the presence of a non-related medical condition or disability.

I.L.Care does not refer volunteers to:

  • Local political campaigns for U.S elections.
  • Make direct financial asks as part of fundraising activities.

How can I.L.Care support your organization?

Volunteer Seekers:
I.L.Care can post your need for volunteers on our website. If it is a date-specific need it will appear on our I.L.Care Calendar. We will ask you for your location, type of service needed and demographic. In order to hold an ILCare volunteer day you will need to assign a Project Manager (PM) to lead the event. Your PM will be given an access code in order to log on to the website and grant volunteers hours of credit (see details under Project Manager information) You may also post information on our website for ongoing projects under “Affiliate Organizations”. This will allow for ILCare members to learn about your volunteer opportunities and to be linked to your organization’s website.

  • We can grant your organization the right to give “I.L.Care” credits to your volunteers (new and existing). By volunteering at your organization they will have access to free events, coupons and discounts at local stores.
  • We can help train your project managers to run volunteer days, giving them financial and administrative support.
  • If you would like to invite volunteers outside of your organization we can post your events on our website. * If you are a school or have students volunteer for you, we can grant them (even if they are doing community service anyway) I.L.Care credits so they will continue to be part of the volunteering community and encourage them to continue their work. Students can be trained to be leaders- a great resume builder and a great way to represent your community
  • When your ILCare members log in volunteer hours they will credit your organization. By the end of the year, the affiliated organization with the most collective volunteer hours will win an award.

How to get started:

  • Contact us by sending an email to ILCare@Israelileadership.org. In the title write: "Affiliated Agency Application".
  • The Affiliate Volunteer seeker organization form and tells us about your organization.
  • Provide us with the dates when you will begin volunteer training days at your organization or let us know when you need volunteers.
  • Identify a Project Manager to accept a log in code or let us know if you need us to help find one.
  • Have your PM attend an I.L.Care orientation if needed.
  • During your volunteer days, simply let people know about I.L.Care. Ask them to register online.

We will not solicit any I.L.Care members for funds or any other purpose.

I.L.Care volunteer days (planned by us for your organization)
I.L.Care can also create a volunteer event for your organization. These events can occur on a regular basis (at least once per month) and is coordinated and led by a Project Manager (PM) selected by IL.Care. PMs are volunteers who receive training and information to act as the liaison between I.L.Care, your organization, and volunteers (see details under Project Managers). With the effort of the ILCare advertising campaign and Social Network, I.L.Care volunteer days can provide your agency with a source of volunteers and much more.
